What is milling Process?
Milling is a metal-cutting technique in which a workpiece is cut with a rotating multi-edge tool (milling cutter), and material is removed in combination with the feed motion of the workpiece or tool to form the desired surface. Its core features include:
Multi-edge intermittent cutting : The multiple cutting teeth of a milling cutter periodically enter the workpiece, forming an intermittent cutting process, with each tooth participating in the cutting in sequence.
Motion coordination : The high-speed rotation (main motion) of the milling cutter is combined with the linear or curvilinear feed motion of the workpiece to complete the machining.
Chip formation and discharge : The cutting edge cuts off the material to form chips, which are discharged through the helical groove or chip separation groove of the tool to prevent chip accumulation from affecting machining quality.
Milling processing is widely used in fields such as mold manufacturing and mechanical parts processing, and can achieve precise processing of complex shapes.
All of our Aluminum Alloy CNC machined parts are custom designed which are all unique and cannot be purchased directly from current market. If you are also have such kind of demand, please find below our work flow chart for the customized parts making.
Ultra-High Precision Guarantee
±0.01mm tolerance with 5-axis CNC machining, ensuring flawless assembly and long-term reliability for demanding industrial applications.
Aerospace-Grade Material Performance
Made from 6061/7075 aluminum alloys, combining steel-like strength, lightweight design, and corrosion resistance for extreme heat and high-load environments.
Agile Customization & Rapid Delivery
Supports complex geometries, offers 72-hour quotes for 3D designs, 7-15 day production cycles, and priority handling for urgent orders.
End-to-End Quality Control
100% inspection + batch sampling, compliant with ISO 9001 and RoHS standards, backed by material certifications and traceable precision data.
Cost-Efficiency Solutions
Process optimization and bulk production guidance reduce hidden costs by 30%, with complementary surface treatments (anodizing/sandblasting).
Your Vision, Our Precision – From concept to reality, we engineer excellence with you.
1Q: What aluminum alloys do you offer, and which is best for my application?
1A: We recommend 6061 (general-purpose) and 7075 (high-strength) aerospace-grade alloys. Share your requirements (load, environment, etc.), and we’ll suggest the optimal material.
2Q: How precise can you machine parts?
2A: Our 5-axis CNC machines achieve tolerances as tight as ±0.01mm, ensuring seamless integration and performance in critical systems.
3Q: What’s the typical lead time for custom orders?
3A: Prototypes in 10-15 days, production batches in 25-30 days. Urgent orders? Contact us for expedited service.
4Q: How do you ensure quality consistency?
4A: Every part undergoes 3D measurement, surface inspection, and batch testing. Full ISO 9001 compliance with traceable reports.
5Q: Do you support small-batch orders or offer samples?
5A: Yes! No minimum order quantity (MOQ) for prototypes. Request a free sample to test fit, finish, and performance before scaling.
